After Friday's Bulls Beat aired there were several noteworthy items to pass along - lots of conferences making decisions on football and other sports, and one directly affects the Bulls. Plus the previously-aired news involving USF men's basketball and volleyball, plus new stuff on men's soccer. And check out the start as we have some awesome audio from Jeff Scott exhorting his team to finish the week strong.

During the football team's Photo Shoot day, Jim Louk and Darek Sharp were joined by more than a dozen members of the football team - with the Head coach closing out the day. But where they ended, we'll start! Here's Coach Scott with an update on how his team has been handling itself during the pandemic, and what his being able to return to in-person meetings has been like this week.

We were able to speak with so many members of the football team (15 in all) that we'll be spreading the talks across several shows. Here Darek speaks with a trio of quarterbacks - returner Jordan McCloud along with transfers Noah Johnson (Armwood) and Cade Fortin.

Wednesday's show began with some enjoyable audio stemming from some of the new archived broadcasts that began this week - including a 2001 halftime interview with Jim Louk and Jose Fernandez! Plus a double dose of notable news items involving men's basketball.

The Bulls women's soccer team this week announced a pair of new members of the 2020 freshman class, along with a pair of upperclassmen transfers.

Big news early Monday - football can coach their players in person again -- sort of (Darek explains). Conference freshman of the year transfers onto the Bulls track & field squad, and women's tennis announces a freshman from Australia. That and the unveiling of a fun programming theme that starts Monday on Unlimited.

Unfortunately the chances for a normal Bulls football season seem very slim. But there was some good stuff to bring your way - listen to the end as Darek has some clips from the 1988 men's basketball game vs. Georgetown, inspired by new Bull Speed Ahead guest Jay Stroman.

Women's tennis Head Coach received a major honor earlier this week, and speaks about the importance of college tennis' chief governing body, along with giving an update on the current Bulls squad.

He was so good last time, the guys decided to bring him back - and are thankful they did. Former pro has close relationships with Novak Djokovic and John Isner so has plenty of insight on both, and coaches Ashley Fisher and Rhett Rollyson really dig into the likelihood (and need) that the U.S. Open gets played.
