Balance in the Christian life isn't something that is optional, it is absolutely necessary. Even as we recognize that our time is short, we are not excused from the need to be balanced Christians. A balanced Christian will be right in following areas.

Worship is a serious thing, and it should always be taken as such. We see through Jeremiah's warnings, that if we take it flippantly, we very well could lose the place that were we go to worship the Lord. Even worse we could still have the place, but lose the manifested presence of the Lord.

Ashes...what in the world are we supposed to do with those- There isn't much we can do with them, but the Lord can take them and give us beauty for them. We see 3 examples in the Scriptures, were the Lord gave something beautiful to those who were left with ashes.

We knew that the Christian life has been compared to a race. We know that we should be running that race. Are we running to the best of our ability or are we running hindered and held-back- We look to the Word Of God, to learn how to become better runners.

There is a great list of reasons of why we should worship the Lord...- - For who He is...- - For what He did on Calvary- - For what He has done for me personally--But another reason why we should worship Him, is because of what we don't have to do-

Paul writes in Romans 13, -...for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed...- This phrase should make every Christian excited, but it wasn't a statement of exclamation, but rather explanation. As we approach that day, there are some things, we as Christians, must be right now-
