Missionary to Albania, Bro. Tim Lord, preached on the subject of -Abiding in Christ- during our past Sunday morning service. Not only are we instructed by Christ to abide in Him, but there are some direct fruits that come as a result of us abiding in Him.

When we allow our hearts to stand in awe of the greatness of God's Word, our whole perspectives will change. As Christians our relationship with the Word of God, shouldn't be one of inconsistency and stagnation. The more we get into God's Word, the greater it will become to us-

Do you want to follow Christ- Do you really want to follow Christ- Then you must be willing to take up your cross and deny your flesh, on a daily basis. This isn't a suggestion, but rather an instruction given by to His followers. When we take up our cross to follow Christ, it also comes with some direct benefits.

Joseph's dream finally comes true. Right in front of him, are his brothers bowing down before him, as they try to buy corn from him in Egypt. Joseph doesn't exact revenge nor does he ridicule them, but he does something amazing. He reveals himself to them, and then extends mercy towards them-

Here the Psalmist is asking the Lord to quicken him - or to give him life. To restore that which is lacking or dwindling. We see three times that we should ask the Lord to quicken us.

Paul loved the church. Paul loved the institution of the church. Paul loved the head of the church. Paul also loved the local church- We should agree with Paul, we should love and thank God for our church-

Joseph life hasn't changed much in two years, he has been serving and sitting in prison down in Egypt. But when there are dreams that trouble Pharaoh, Joseph is called upon to only interpret the dreams but to implement God's plan to ensure the survival of Egypt. Do we have the courage to wait on God, instead of trying to control things ourselves-

In this portion the Psalmist is begging the Lord to move in his life. He isn't trying to bargain with the Lord, but he is appealing to loving-kindness of the Lord. Do we approach the Lord with the same amount of expectancy and understanding-

Can we become so busy in our service for the Lord, that we would actually neglect our relationship with the Lord- The answer is yes, and we see this very thing happen in Martha's life. Thankfully the Lord not only a solution for Martha, but He has one for us too-

Joseph was so close to getting out of prison, but was forgotten about by the very person he helped. We examine how Joseph's character never changes, even though his environment is constantly changing. The reason for this is simple...the Lord was with Joseph.
