  • Season 4, Episode 51: Interview with Lauren-Marie Taylor (Vickie) from “Friday the 13th: Part 2” (1981)

Lauren is such a sweet person with the most overall positive vibe! I loved hearing her speak about how her acting career started and how she got involved with the

movie [Friday the 13th: Part 2]. It astonishes me how the franchise maintains the reputation of hiring talented actors for the movies.

He story is very interesting and descriptive; I was captivated the entire time. Usually I try to tend to the basic questions but in this interview, we talked about her

acting history… How she acted alongside John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. And recently in the movie “In a Violent Nature” alongside Ry Barrett. Her story and career are amazing!

What’s next for this wonderful and talented actress? Make sure you keep an eye out for her in “He Sees You When You're Sleeping” which is set to be released this year around Christmas.

  • Season 4, Episode 50: Interview with Olivera Perunicic (Sofija) from “Hell Hole” (2024) – A Shudder Original

It was an absolute delight speaking to Olivera about her role in the Shudder Original, “Hell Hole” which is due to be released on Shudder today!

We spoke about her character in the movie and how passionate she is about the environment and animals outside her acting career. She is definitely the kind

of person you would love to know on a more personal level. Which therein gives you an idea why Toby Poser and her husband John Adams chose her to be in this
movie – that and she is quite talented as well.

In a sense, this movie is quite the comparison to John Carpenter’s “The Thing” from 1982. According to Olivera, there are some similarities: the scientists, the isolation, and the cold weather.

Aside from what I learned from Olivera about this movie, I am super stoked to watch it and keep an eye out for my review. For those that would like to support Olivera, please follow her on Instagram and watch her in “The Ark” which sounds like a fascinating Sci-Fi series.

  • Season 4, Episode 49: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (Sarah) from “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later” (1998) – New Jersey Native!

What an absolute pleasure speaking to New Jersey

native, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe! She is such a badass and talented actress… To be that talented, to act in almost every role that is handed to her, she is undoubtedly gifted.

There are some fans of the Halloween franchise that

may not agree with what I said in the interview. But can you call yourselves true fans of the franchise if you don’t like the Halloween anniversary movies?

Halloween: H20 is most definitely a high-quality fan fiction that I can categorize as a functional movie that highlights the characters and their personalities and qualities. Although not a part of the original canon, the

characters in this movie are much more charming than those in the Scream franchise.

What was covered in this interview: Jodi has given us

the juicy information of some behind the scenes secrets, what it was like to work with Jamie Lee Curtis, and how Chris Durand (Michael Myers) walked around the set the entire time in costume and did not take it off until the movie was finished filming. Talk about scare tactics!

Overall, it was great speaking to Jodi. And I will say it again, she is very talented, and I was very sad to see her character Sarah die in the movie. To see such a lovable character die at the hand of Michael Myers is heart breaking.

  • Season 4, Episode 48: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Gina Louise Phillips (Camille) from “V/H/S/94” (2021)

Movie Synopsis: A police S.W.A.T. team investigate a

mysterious VHS tape and discover a sinister cult that has pre-recorded material
    which uncovers a nightmarish conspiracy.

    __________________________________________________

What an absolute pleasure speaking to Gina (not to get her mixed up with Gina Phillips from Jeepers Creepers)…

Although Gina has a brief role in “V/H/S/94”, it’s an important role; being a news anchor is not an easy

job. Especially when you’re covering a story that’s invigorating as the “Ratman” in the sewers.

What did we talk about? Her role in the movie of course! She spoke of how she started her career as an actress in Toronto and how she heard of the role of “Camille’ – to be a part of the V/H/S Franchise is something to

be very proud of. Ever since this movie was released, the bar for found footage has been raised and the rest of the movies that come after get better.

We also spoke how this movie really grabbed the essence of the 1990s with the costumes and the makeup (and the crazy hair style that Gina has). The 90s was a good era for coming out horror; Disturbing Behavior, Sleepwalkers, Stir of Echoes, House on Haunted Hill, In the Mouth of Madness – the list goes on and on.

She also expressed her gratitude for working alongside Pedro Pascal in “The Last of Us” for a short time and she also said that he cool as the public says. How awesome is that? To act in a series with Pedro? Pretty damn amazing in my opinion.

  • Season 4, Episode 47: Interview with Mandy Magnan (Maddy) from the Found Footage Horror, “Invited” (2024) [Based on A True Story]

Movie Synopsis: When a reluctant mother attends her

daughter's Zoom elopement, she and the rest of the family in attendance quickly realize the groom is part of a Russian cult with deadly intentions.

    __________________________________________________

Mandy, such a wonderful and talented actress who had to

portray probably one of the hardest roles in the movie. I say this because she’s not actually pregnant in the film, but she had to wear a pregnant belly mold made of silicone (I think) throughout the entire film. Kudos to an actor who has to wear that through the entire duration.

I am glad that she was able to discuss the entire process of the making of the movie; from the rehearsals, the behind-the-scenes secrets, and what the actors were feeling during the filming. I love getting all the

details about the movie, it makes me feel like I am actually there, experiencing what they are.

So what we have learned: never attend a zoom call that’s a

marriage elopement, especially if it’s happening in Russia. Or if you think it’s part of a cult, then turn off the damn computer! You don’t want of that bad juju in your life.

In conclusion, I do solemnly swear, and I apologize that

there was no intentional offense towards Russia and the Jehovah’s Witnesses. This interview is entirely categorized as satire and humor with no intention(s) of offending any audience members. Please forgive what I have said in the
    interview.

  • Season 4, Episode 46: Interview with Felix Leech (The Fool / The Hanged Man) from “Tarot” (2024)

Movie Synopsis: When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings, they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death.

    __________________________________________________

Felix is such a badass and cool individual! This guy played the two creepiest Tarot characters in the movie. It’s no wonder why this talented stuntman was chosen; performing stunts in notable movies such as: Ant-Man and

the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), The Batman (2022), Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019), Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019), and Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) – just to name a few.

We discussed how he was chosen for these particular roles, and it seems that the casting director has chosen the right person for the jobs. I cannot imagine what rehearsing on set must have been like, pretty tough, I imagine.

However, I am thoroughly impressed with his story about that Jackie Chan plays an integral part of if his career, and no one on this planet can argue that Jackie Chan is awesome. Role models should always be mentioned in

    someone’s stories!

Hands down, I loved the movie! Stunt performers are under-appreciated, and they definitely deserve more respect than the world gives them. In my opinion, stunt performers are the backbone of the movie. So I am hoping that Felix wins an award for this role, he most definitely deserves one!

  • Season 4, Episode 45: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Sarah Nicklin (Charlotte Turner) from “The Black Mass” (2023)

Sarah Nicklin, the beloved of indie horror, has been working in horror for nearly two decades. Sarah’s career in film has expanded traction in recent years for her diverse involvement in horror movies, music videos, shorts, and series. She is also stunt performer and producer. She

has worked with many horror legends, including Eileen Dietz, Lisa Wilcox, Doug Jones and Dee Wallace, just to name a few.

    __________________________________________________

Sarah is an amazing and talented actress; I say this because if anyone can act in a horror movie about a serial killer and emotionally connect with the victim vicariously, then nominate her for an Oscar!

Sarah’s experience working on set in regard to having a dark history just makes the audience want to know and watch more. To be on set and reenact the last moments

(for some) of the deceased and those who survived. I could not imagine what was going through their minds as they were filming.

We mostly talked about her character and Ted Bundy. We also posed the theory (mainly a question) as to why serial killers do what they do. There are so many unanswered questions and variables for what makes them [serial killers] tick.

To anyone who has not seen this movie, I highly recommend either renting it on Amazon or going to your nearest store and purchase the DVD. Watching parts of the movie through the point of view of the killer along with the ominous build-ups is pure genius. This strategy is what makes a director earn awards and stand out among the rest.

Be sure to follow Sarah on Instagram for news and upcoming projects.
