Watching people, people watch is such a fun activity. It says a lot about not only the one being watched, but also the watcher. After this past week's message on Colossians 4, Matt and Josh recap just how important it is to live out your life & faith in an authentic, as well as humble way. We also dissect the last two witnesses (doctors) in the Johnny Depp trial... What a time to be alive! Enjoy!

Colossians 3 is all about the GLOW UP! Paul reminds those reading his letter that they should stop "putting on" old habits & attitudes... They're SO your past life! Christians are told that they should probably stop doing certain things, but often the "WHY?" is not clear. Josh takes a deep dive into this in today's 5 minute message. Enjoy!

In this episode, Matt and Josh explore Colossians 2 and look at why going to God FIRST can keep you from a lot of heartache. This episode is Oprah approved (Not really). 

Quit it with the self help! 

When things get hard, who do you run to? In Colossians 2, Paul finds out that the church there is running to all kinds of different things in difficulty... Just not Jesus. Pastor Matt Goes after our leaning towards self help and why that's going to ultimately leave us still looking for someone to come to our rescue. 

In this episode, Matt and Josh explore Colossians 1 and look at why a basic, solid faith is SOOO beautiful. It's a good one B'Y!

Sometimes when things get too complicated, that should be our cue to get back to basics. In this Chapter Paul makes it clear that Jesus is the centre of everything and that growing in your faith and becoming mature in Jesus is less complicated than we've made it!

Understand the book of Colossians: Colossians Overview

Scripture for the day- Colossians 1:

26-29 This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it’s out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message. We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. That’s what I’m working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the energy God so generously gives me (The Message).

 HOPE! We all love it, we all need it, but... We rarely know where to find it. Don't get us wrong, we know it's in Jesus, but what happens when you faith feels like a ground hog day? In this episode Matt and Josh talk about how hope is not found in an institution, in a program or event a feeling. It's found in the person of Jesus. 

Last weekend we had our community Easter event and it was a hit. Last night South Point had a dance party and tomorrow is the launch our Brurch! So many things being done differently and you know what??? WE ARE LOVING IT!!!
