  • The Rebellious Finals

Bottom line: Final judgment isn't the decision regarding entrance into heaven of hell. It is the decision regarding the eternal sentence of the unbelieving rebel in hell.

In the concluding verses of Rev. 20 we see a series of three different finalities: a final deception, a final beat down, and a final judgment. These finals determine who the losers are once and for all and for all eternity - Satan and every rejecter of God's grace and mercy.

  • The King's Kingdom

Bottom line: Our deepest longings and desires (for this world and in this world) will be fulfilled in the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ.

The King's Kingdom is coming. It will be a kingdom of peace, justice, joy, security, no sickness, no curse, etc. It will fulfill our deepest longings and desires of our hearts. At Christ's return His enemies will destroyed (Babylon), defeated (Antichrist, False Prophet, and enemy armies), or detained (Satan in the bottomless pit), and He will establish His kingdom rule upon this earth for 1000 years. The kingdom must come in order to fulfill God's purpose and plan, fulfill 1800 prophecies concerning the kingdom, and fulfill the covenants God has made (Abrahamic, Davidic, and New Covenants).

  • The King!

Bottom line: Jesus' victory determines your victory or defeat.

Chapter 19 documents the second return of Jesus to this earth to fight the battle of Armageddon and to establish His millennial reign. It is the climax of the book and of all history. Jesus' second return will be a triumphal entry, and His entry alone will announce - The King! Every eye will see Him on that day as He comes in clouds of glory.

  • The Marriage Of The Lamb

Bottom line: The marriage supper of the Lamb is the great celebration of life and victory for Jesus and His followers.

One day and for all eternity the followers of Christ will experience the oneness we have with Him. Our relationship with Jesus will grow deeper and go deeper eternally. The purpose of the Marriage of the Lamb is the experiential fulfillment through eternity of the positional oneness we now have in Christ.

  • Like A Sinking Stone

Bottom line: Greed for temporary valuables can lead you to lose what has eternal value.

Babylon the Great in Chapter 18 is a symbol for both a system and a city. It is symbolic of the political, economic, and financial system of the Antichrist's empire the will be seated in a capital city ("that great city"). Babylon is filled with sin and will ultimately be judged by God. Her judgment is likened unto a stone being cast into the sea and sinking never to be seen again.

  • Come On, Man!

Bottom Line: Do justice, love mercy, walk humbly before God and leave the consequences to Him.

These days are wild and crazy. From Covid-19 to this wild and crazy presidential race we are finding our selves in chaos and calamity. Our world is changing and it is out of control. So what are we as believers supposed to do? We find the answer in the book of Micah.

  • The Duper Gets Dumped

Bottom line: When we take our eyes off Jesus, we can be duped by the deception of false religion.

Babylon the Harlot is a symbol for false religion. False religion has been made drunk with the blood of prophets and saints for 1000's of years and she will continue to be into the Tribulation. She serves a very intoxicating drink. Her desire is to dupe people into rejecting the promises of God, rebelling against the commands of God, and refusing the grace God.

  • Coming Attractions

Bottom line - Because I know what is coming, I can prepare for it.

In chapter 14 verses 6-20 we find a series of vignettes that play out like movie trailers advertising coming attractions. We see a trio of angels foretelling of coming judgment. We hear a voice from heaven speak of a coming rest for tribulation martyrs. And then we see the second coming of Jesus and judgment of the Battle of Armageddon.

  • The Lamb And The Redeemed

Bottom line: For those who will sing a new song one day, the time to live faithfully for Jesus is today.

What the tribulation saints will be in the future is what we as believers should be in the now: faithful witnesses, spiritually pure, faithful to Jesus, obedient to follow the Lamb wherever He leads.

  • Live The Good Life

Bottom line: When you choose to love your God-called life, you experience the good life.

Living the good life begins with the right attitude, translates into the right reactions, is based upon the right standards, and is motivated by the right incentive.
