Why does it matter to us what the priests were wearing and how is this relevant to us today?

The priests specially designed garments shows that they were acting on behalf of God.

In verse 36 the plate of pure gold was engraved with : Holiness to the Lord

Why was the tabernacle designed to be erected East?

The Tabernacle is a picture of the way home to God.

Everything about the Tabernacle is filled with meanings and reasons for everything that was done in the design in the Tabernacle.

As Christians, how much do we want to grow in our relationship with Christ? We need to pray that we will increase in the knowledge of God and in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

How much do you value time spent with God? What would you encourage a new believer to do to grow in the faith. What then is the difference between a mature believer and a new believer – we should all highly value time spent with God.

Continuing the Gospel of Mark where Jesus called his disciples.

Jesus said ‘I am the bread of Life’.

Jesus asked this question of his disciples when others stopped following him: “Will ye also go away?”

Peter’s response was ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life’..

We all have a responsibility to our generation to be a witness to share the message of Jesus who said ‘I came not to call the righteous, but sinners unto repentance.’ But what is our motivation? The right motivation comes from a right relationship with Jesus in response to what he has done for us.

Jesus asks us to use what we have, to do what we can. The small boy was willing to share his lunch which Jesus used to do something great.

What is evolution?  It is a record of death.  It raises the question that if God used evolution to create, and declared it ‘very good’ in Genesis, then will He also use the same ‘good’ method of death and destruction when He says in Revelation 21 “Behold, I am making all things new” and creates a new heaven and new earth?  Of course the answer is a resounding no!.
