In this episode we continue into the biblical saga. Humanity is created in the image of God and in the second scene of the Genesis narrative we get our first look at these "image-bearing" humans.

As you read Genesis, one of the first questions you may have is "what is going on with the first and second chapters? Are they telling the same story? Different stories? Or the same story from different perspectives?" In this episode we explore 3 common views people take to understand the relationship between Genesis 1 & 2 and how our view of these foundational stories can radically shift our theology.

In this episode we kickoff our series on Genesis. The book of Genesis is the most foundational book to a biblical worldview. We explore the nature of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament) and how understanding its makeup can aid us in better interpretations of God's World. 

Much of our frustration and discomfort reading the Hebrew Bible finds its origin in not understanding what type of literature we are reading. Genesis chapter 1 is the perfect model for preparing readers of the Bible with how they should expect the Bible to speak: In creative, engaging, and often unexpected ways that communicates much with few words.
