Today we are discussing some tools to keep us connected.

This week, Pastor Kristina, my wife and pastor to the Lamar, Two Buttes, and Walsh United Methodist Churches and I are taking time this week try new ways to stay connected while we are temporarily suspending worship and in person activities in our congregations due to the coronavirus pandemic. For this conversation on Monday, March 16th, we discuss our faith in Christ and the changes and the disruptions we are facing.

This week we continue our series examining how our perceptions can affect our faith, particularly how idolatry can be a concern with our self-examination.

This week we began a new Lenten series, where we'll examine our perceptions and behaviors. This week we focused on the cultural view of death and how that impacts our faith, especially in regards to resurrection. The scripture in focus is 1 Corinthians 15:50-57.

This week we conclude our short sermon series on seeking a way forward when times are difficult. We heard from the story of Gideon from Judges 7:1-22 and how he demonstrated trust when things seemed difficult or almost impossible.

This week we begin a short sermon series examining how we move forward when it seems like we have few options. Jesus found himself in a difficult situation, but because he looked at the situation differently, he was able to find a way forward that was not easily apparent. The scripture in focus is John 8:2-11.

This week we finish our series on faith and technology by taking a solid look at making personal connections and relationships a priority. Our scripture in focus is Hebrews 10:19-39.
