Culture and the gospel have a different idea on where we should find our identity. In this class we’ll explore all the different things we turn to to find our identity, the dangers of doing that, and some practical things we can do to find our identity in Christ instead.

We can revolutionize our communities by fighting to honor Jesus through honoring one another and by living out the command to think of others more highly than we think of ourselves.

What do we do with the Old Testament? How should I understand the writings of Paul? Does it matter where I start reading? How can I grow in my understanding of Scripture? Scripture is a collection of ancient texts gathered together to tell us a unified story of who God is and what He is like. This elective is designed to give you foundational skills to help you read Scripture well and hopefully remove some misunderstandings along the way.

How we view and use time is directly connected to our anxiety and worry levels and is incredibly important to God.
