With 2020 coming to and end SoCo gets together one last time and wrap up one eventful year. Briggs & Shane discuss their 2020 Christmas and was they were gifted. Next the fellas discuss some of the best hip hop albums of the year and their favorite album. The fellas then jump into the year review going month by month discussing some major events, from Kobe's death, Beirut explosion, and Covid 19 and how it shut the would down. We are finally in the 70s!!! Starting off episode 70, Shane is now married and he talks about his new union and how was the whole process. Briggs is now engaged! He then explained that weekend and how he popped the question to his now fiancé. With Christmas being next week the fellas then have a brief discussion about Christmas, including their plans, gifts of the year, and favorite thing about the Christmas holiday. Verzuz made some more noise, with the announcement and then postponement of the Ashanti and Keyshia Cole battle. That battle has now been reschedule for early 2021, but we do now have Too Short and E-40 this upcoming weekend. Happy Thanksgiving! With a crazy year coming to an end the fellas get together for a Thanksgiving episode and discuss a few topics. Starting off with holiday talk, Briggs & Shane discuss Thanksgivings do's and don'ts and what they are looking forward to eating. Next up was a conversation about a few battles, the presidential election, and Gucci Mane vs Jeezy. New music and sports finish up the episode.

With a lot of music dropping since our last episode, Briggs and Shane starts there. Playing some of their favorite tracks from new releases, and also some new single. Keeping it with music the fellas also discuss the latest on the Meg and Tory situation including his album, also Cardi and Takeoff looking like things are better. Politics was next up, with the United States have a few round of debates, and the fly landing on Pence's head, and Ice Cube helping out Trump with his Black initiative. Somehow we got on the Pledge of Allegiance and how its cult like activity. Lastly sports, and the Lakers getting their 17th NBA Championship and more!

The full crew is back on Episode 67 as Briggs has returned! With our longest episode to date Briggs & Shane went through a lot of topics including their guys trip to Miami for Shane. After a brief rundown of the 305 the fellas gave their respects to Chadwick Boseman who is also native South Carolinian himself, that passed away due to cancer. Next on the list is some news in the world we live in...Podcasting. A lot has been happening in the podcasting world since Ep. 66, Amazon is now in the podcast industry, Charlamage tha God has started "Black Effect" his podcast network with iHeart, and lastly Joe Budden creating his own podcast network, The Joe Budden Network. Other topics were on the list including Deion Sanders new coaching gig, Kanye's twitter, Breanna Taylor still not getting any justice, and the Travis Scott meal plus much more!

With Briggs out, Shane takes over this episode of the Southern Comfort Podcast, as he brings along some good friends of his, Mike, Rez, and Buck! With all the guys sitting down for first time they start off with paying respects to Jacob Blake, and RIPs to Chadwick Boseman, Clifford Robinson and Lute Olsen. Various music topics were discussed including the past Versus battles along with the up and coming Monica vs Brandy, as all the guest chose Monica to win. With Lil Wayne releasing No Ceilings the fellas discussed some of their favorite mixtapes. With sports they discussed how there will be college football in the South this year no matter what. Sticking with football they also agree there will also be a NFL season and some season predictions. With the NBA being the biggest splash of content they went over everything that happened this past week in the NBA and what will happen next, if anything.

Briggs & Shane are back with Episode 65. They start off with sports and the NBA bubble, and how successful they have been so far, also Lou Will going to get some wings caused him a 10 day quarentine. Meg & Tory situation was a topic discussed followed by the Verzuz battles. With Snoop and DMX being the latest the fellas gave their opinion on the battle plus with Rick Ross and 2 Chainz battling they gave their thoughts on that upcoming battle. SoCo also pays their respect to the late great John Lewis, and Civil Rights Activist who marched beside Dr. King. Other topics include new sexual assault allegations on Takeoff, Tyson vs Roy Jones, Trap Rushmore and Kanye West South Carolina presidential rally.

With a crazy past 24 hour it was only right the fellas got up for an emergency episode of some Southern Comfort! Recordings broke last night on social media that had the hometown for Briggs & Shane in an uproar so the fellas got together and with the help of a few classmates, Dyson and Tillie and they discussed what went wrong with "Buddy" trying to expose "Judy", and who's really to blame.. SoCo also discusses Lake Murray's Trump Parade, Kanye presidential chances, and also new music from over the weekend. Finishing up Briggs argues why he believes 50 Cent would beat TI in a Verzuz battle.

Briggs and Shane are back with episode. 63, and a special surprise guest Simmz stopped by to partake in some discussion. The fellas starts off with some local news regarding the removal of John Calhoun’s statue downtown Charleston. Strom Thurmond was brought up next as his names should be taken off buildings around the state. Netflix is donating to the Black community was next up to lighten the mood and the importance that brings to the community. SoCo discuss music next with the Verzuz battles, BET Awards, new music, and August Alsina. Last but not least sports and the current state of various leagues and Cam Newton’s contract with the Patriots.
