You know what they say, y'all, sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. And while the story of the Axman of New Orleans has faded into legend over the years, the hate and bigotry so engrained within the tale is just as real now as it was then.

Y'all may have to forgive me this week. I'm still recoverin' from "the 'rona", so if this week's episode isn't the greatest, we'll just chalk it up to some sorta wild fever dream! I still wanted to make sure y'all had a creepy creature haint story in time for Halloween, though, and the legend of the Tailypo is one of my favourites. But be forewarned- the original tale ain't for the squeamish.

The story of The Maco Light may not be all that frightenin' these days, but it's a tragic tale all the same. Come on over and meet Joe Baldwin and his ghostly lantern light of Maco Station.
