What if I told you that you were made to fear, to walk in fear, and to live in fear? That being fearful is actually what you were made for? Hmm… you may wonder if I’d gone mad! In truth, the fear I am talking about is a “Fear of the Lord” —a fear that is identified by a deep wonder, reverence and honor for the holiness and magnificence of God! Consequently, sin is often associated with forgetting this fear and failing to remember who God is and how worthy He is of our obedience and our worship. Join us as we take a look at the story of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5 and remember how important it is to Fear the Lord.
