We worship a The God that is the same God yesterday, today and forever! (Hebrews 13:8)
The God of compassion and mercy!
I am slow to anger
and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
7 I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.[c]
I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.Exodus 34:6-7
Through Exodus 34:5-25 we can see God's compassion is for us.
We can also learn some key principles of Firstfruits offerings He has set for our blessings, that is further backed up by 'The Widow's Offering' in the New Testament book of Mark 12:41-44

First crop of wheat bring a first fruit offering - Faith (before the harvest)
Stop and celebrate after the blessing with an offering - Gratitude (after the harvest)
Gratitude and Faith work together. Let’s be people that are not only grateful but also a people that will stir up new faith!

Stop trying to do more. Stop trying to pray more. Stop trying to be a better Christian. Stop trying to swear less. Stop trying to do more Christian things to win God’s approval- You have it!
God loves you . There is no but there.
You were created to do good works but not to earn God's Love
Gods primary motivation towards you is that He wants to be your Dad!
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
