Jesus describes the various ways that people receive the Gospel message. This study looks at the different soils (hearts) that Jesus describes in the Parable of the Sower and ways that we can continually cultivate our own hearts to become and remain Good soil.

Why would Jesus deny the Pharisees another sign? He did all sorts of miracles and provided signs over and over in His ministry. Jesus shows that it is an internal soul problem that these religious leaders have, not an external sight problem.

As tension continues to build between Jesus and the Pharisees, Jesus responds to the accusations that He is from the devil. He describes the division within and between kingdoms and also describes the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Here in Matthew 12, Jesus is confronted about the rules regarding the Sabbath. Jesus graciously teaches that the Sabbath is about rest, not a list of rules to follow.
