Obedience is not just for kids! It was for Jesus and for us. Matthew 3 teaches us about obedience as we study the baptism of Jesus.

John the Baptist appeared with a message of repentance. This study looks into the implications of that message and the impact that it had on many in the surrounding region and also how the same message of repentance matters for us today.

Studying Matthew chapter 2, we find that even Joseph and Mary had real struggles while being led by God. Still, God's faithfulness and care for His people continues.

Who was Matthew? Why did he write a gospel? Who did he write to? How is this gospel different than the other gospels? We will explore these questions and more as we begin our study through Matthew.

The final chapters of Hosea culminate with the same message to the people: return to the Lord. Here we find the hard news of certain destruction, but also the beautiful vision of hope for the future.

Throughout Hosea, we learn that God's love never wavers. Our love is not so solid. In fact, sometimes correction is exactly what is needed to lead us to repentance. This is where the nation of Israel found themselves in the prophecies of Hosea 11 and 12.

The first Christmas came as quite a surprise to those that experienced it. This message looks at the Christmas story found in Luke 2:1-18.

Idolatry isn't just something found in ancient, uneducated cultures. In fact the idols of Sex, Money and Power are still alive and well in the modern world. This study through Hosea reveals these idols and looks at how they impacted Israel's relationship with God.

Here at the center of Hosea, we learn about God's heart for humanity. We also learn about our tendency to wander away from God pursuing all sorts of idols. The call is to return to Him.

The Northern and Southern Kingdoms were at different phases of leaving the Lord by seeking other things. In this study we are challenged to recognize where we are at and understand how we are seeking God.
