Worship is our response to God when we finally embrace the good news of what He has done for us through His Son Jesus Christ. In this message, Dr. Brian Kinlaw takes us through the anointing of Jesus at Bethany and pulls from scripture 3 key truths:

- The sacrifice of Worship.

- The solitude of Worship.

- The goal of the Gospel.

Through the re-gathering of the people of Israel and the rebuilding of Jerusalem, there is great rejoicing. God's people have come home. And through this passage we see the great joy we can have when we come home to God; when we live our lives out in total obedience to Him for His glory and His purpose.

In our study of Zephaniah, we previously saw that God's judgement against the kingdom of Judah had been forewarned and then carried out. Now, a faithful remnant of God's people are allowed to return after some time in captivity. Because of their obedience, and because of God's great mercy, they were ultimately blessed.

In message 4 of the Zephaniah sermon series, we review Zephaniah 3:1-8 and we see 4 key pieces of truths to consider from this passage~

- Leaders are accountable to God for their stewardship and influence.

- The loving discipline of God should not be ignored.

- God is faithful, even when we are not.

- Failure to repent will bring certainty of judgement.

In reviewing Zephaniah 2:4-15, we are reminded of: God's sovereignty over all the nations; that He is moving all of history towards the restoration of all things; that there is danger in pride and self-sufficiency; and finally we are reminded of the great question of life~ what will YOU do with God?

Guest Pastor Chris Dickerson takes us through the first few verses of Luke, chapter 4. We see how Jesus was tempted by satan during his time in the wilderness. We see how Jesus's responses to temptation were perfect and without error. And in His responses, we see a model for how we can respond to (and overcome) temptations in our own lives today.

Message 2 of our Zephania sermon series; As we review the opening verses of Chapter 2, we read of Zephaniah's call for repentenace to the people of Judah; the time for repentance and a description of what true repentance looks like. Through the prophet's warnings, we see instruction that is applicable to our world today...that we are to seek the Lord in humility; seek the Lord in obedience and, finally, seek the Lord in righteousness. Only through true repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ may we avoid the coming day of the Lord.

A study on the book of Zephaniah. The minor prophet Zephaniah warns Israel of the coming Day of Judgement from the Lord; a topic that is certainly as relevant today as it was when it was first written.

Our final message in a months-long sermon series on Vision. We review and discuss 1 Peter 1:13-21 and the idea that our hope in Christ should produce in us a holiness of life…not because we are following God from a legalistic view but because the love of God and the judgement of God and the hope we have in Christ will literally change how we choose to live our lives. A fantastic message that is extremely relevant to the world we live in today and the challenges that all believers face to be conformed to the world.
