"But God..." is perhaps the greatest two-word phrase you'll find in scripture. We were dead in sin, slaves to Satan, and under wrath, unable to free ourselves. "But God" intervened through Christ and gave us life as a free gift. There is no better news to hear, believe, and share with a dying world.

You will never exhaust the riches of God's wisdom, glory, character, or plan. Therefore, class is never over for the follower of Christ. It is our joy and privilege to be every learning more about the hope, value, and power we have in Him.

When life gets hard, choose gratitude. Thank God for the infinite wealth of spiritual blessings He's given you. You were chosen by the Father, redeemed by the Son, and sealed by the Spirit.

Honesty with God allows me to experience God's forgiveness; the divine release from the baggage of my sin.

In long-lasting trials and difficulties, our best response is TRUST in God's steadfast love and unmatched power...and trials are the best means of growing that trust.

When you read the daily headlines, how do you feel? Frustrated? Powerless? Desparing? We consume news, bad news, about which we can do nothing. We can engage at a local level and have some influence, but not at a national or global level. Nevertheless, we have hope. "Jesus will reign" answers every troubling headline. It also instructs us how to live each day - in joyful submission to His rule in our lives and hope for His coming kingdom.
