In this psalm David praises God as Savior of the world by highlighting the power, mercy and grace He shows in His awesome deeds in His creation. David also looks forward to the abundance to come in the kingdom of God.

In this verse, Paul expresses complete confidence in the Gospel of Jesus Christ while explaining the reason he is so eager to preach it when he arrives in Rome.

The Psalmist praises God for afflicting him because the affliction is what causes him to turn to God and His Word.

In this passage, Jesus explains that the message of the kingdom will prosper during a mystery age—in which the wicked and the righteous will live side by side.

Heth. The Psalmist here continues to praise God for His Word and he prays that he by God's grace will grow more in the knowledge of the Word so he can in turn grow closer to God. This is to be our prayer as God's servants as well.

In this text, Paul shares his love for these people—and furthermore, commits to preach the Gospel to them as he has done for so many others already.

These verses record more of the events leading up ti Paul's arrival in Rome which yet again is a picture of God's sovereignty, His providence, of His power, mercy, promise keeping, and grace.

The birth of Jesus was a miracle in more than one way. Between the end of the Old Testament and beginning of the New Satan's attempts to destroy Israel and the line of David prior to Christ seemed to escalate. This message tells some of the story what happened to Israel during those years.

Jesus is the 2nd Person in the Trinity—one Person with two natures—one human and one divine.

In these verses the Psalmist is praising God for the comfort, hope, and joy that He finds in both God and His Word.
