A. Beautiful in appearance 1 Cor 2:9 Rev. 21:10-26; 22:1-6.

B. Beauty unmarred by sin! Rev. 21:27.

II. Heaven is Occupied.

A. By the Sovereign Rev. 21:3-4.

B. By the Son Jn 14:1-3; 2 Cor. 5:8; Rev. 22:3-4.

C. By the Spirit 2 Cor 3:18.

D. By the Saints Jn 14:3; Rev 4:4; Heb 12:22-23; Rev 19:1.

III. Heaven is Eternal.

A. Heaven being forever is good! 1 Pet. 1:3-5

B. It is forever because it is God’s dwelling Rev. 22:3.

IV. Heaven is Hopeful.

A. The gospel of Christ opens heaven to sinners Matt 1:21; Jn 1:14; 1 Cor 15:3-4; 1 Jn 3:2.

B. The gospel is good news, so its end is hopeful Ts 3:6,7.

C. Heaven is wonderful and you should go! Psa 87:3

Title: Faith to the Nth Degree

I. When Little Faith is Bad.

A. ...when it is supposed to be bigger Matt. 14:31.

B. ...it is dependent on appearances Matt. 14:30.

C. ...it is affected by surrounding circumstances Matt. 14:30.

D. ..it fears peril more than God.

E. ...it is unreasonable.

II. When is Little Faith Graced and Commended?

A. ...it is at least faith—the weakest faith is still faith Matt. 14:31;17:19-20;6:30.

B. ...it attempts to get to Jesus 14:29.

C. .. it turns to prayer in time of trouble 14:30.

III. Christ Commends Great Faith.

A. He was amazed when it found in unexpected people Matt. 8:9,10.

B. He taught the importance of great faith and its persistence toward God Luke 18:5.

C. Big faith looks toward a big reward from a big God 1 Pet. 1:8,9.
