The bible uses the word perfect, blameless, upright, and other words to command us to pursue and become perfect in this life. But what does it actually mean to be perfect, and how are we to measure our state of perfection, and perfect according to who’s standards.

I’ve realised that in the world and many churches the word perfect has been taught to be seen as unattainable or un realistic. And many will tell you that the bible does not expect you to be perfect because your faith is enough, when really people give us the idea of perfection being unattainable, for you to always have an excuse to sin.

Looking at the story of Job, The Most High reminds us to never change our song of praise regardless of the situation and struggle we might encounter. To always be thankful and grateful not just for what he's done. but more importantly, for who he is.

A prayer for the spirit of discipline in every area of our lives

A prayer to help your mind focus under the guidance and leadership of The Most High. Praying for guidance is most important, especially when it comes to our journey on this path to pursuing righteousness.

For the next 365 days, I challenge you to give yourself 3 words that you will set your focus on and live by. But these 3 words have to sum up everything you desire to achieve within the next year. Why 3 words?

Dear Most High and Heavenly Father, Thank you for another day of life, today I come before you in prayer to ask forgiveness. Lord please forgive me for all my failures, for my mistakes, and for my short comings. I desire to be all that you want me to be. And the person you need me to become for your names sake.

Here is a prayer for you to be a part of after a week that may or may not have bee challenging, but a prayer that will calm your spirit and kep our minds focused on the most high.

Another sabbath day finally arrived, finally having the opportunity to rest, relax from a busy week, and reflect on the life you’ve been living to make the changes necessary for you to succeed.

Reflecting on the thought of, if this was my last day, would I make it into the kingdom of heaven?

And if not, why not? What do I need to do? Hat do I need to change?

Maybe we should write it down.

Vision gives us access to understanding things that cannot be explained with words or are hard to believe. Vision is also used as a confluence or confirmation to an idea or theory And the bible makes one thing very clear about the importance of vision.

Proverbs 29:18

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
