Maybe it's just the music blaring from the headphones, and the sounds of revolution... NO! evolutionary beats echoing through my mind. Maybe this feeling will be fleeting, but it's here now and I embrace it fully. If you read the news it's easy to start feeling pretty low these days. It seems one three letter agency or another has the freedom fighters on the run. Those of us who fight the good fight certainly seem a little less forthcoming about our activities. And who can blame us? Even if we don't see it, the presence of that all-seeing eye is a constant pressure on our lives. But right here, right now, this is what I know:
We are faster than them. It may seem like we're the ones on the run, but it's their system, their rules that are constantly trying to keep up with us. Their failures outnumber our own. Even when the gatekeepers do take root, we don't stop until we've found a way circumvent them. The "all-seeing" aspects of that eye is illusory. The gaze of Sauron can only focus its attention on one place at a time.
