Dr. Meer received his Bachelors degree in Economics from Princeton University and his PhD from Stanford.  He’s been a professor at Texas A&M University since 2009 and was tenured there in 2014.  He is now the Mary Julia and George R Jordan Professor of Public Policy in the economics department and was recently awarded the University Professorship for Undergraduate Teaching Excellence.
