In between recording with this episode's guest, Matthew Trueblood of Baseball Prospectus, the Penning Bull Newsletter, and Twins Daily, I blew a 9-6 lead in foosball to my 12 year old son. So perhaps I wasn't in the most chipper mood when I recorded the intro, but I should've been because this podcast was really one of the best I've done, due entirely to my guest, Mr. Trueblood. We talked some Red Sox off-season, tried in vain to avoid the Mookie Betts trade, and then worked around the AL attempting to get a handle on the other divisions and, maybe with an ulterior motive, to get some more information about the potential Wild Card challengers the Red Sox will face in 2021.
