In between recording with this episode's guest, Matthew Trueblood of Baseball Prospectus, the Penning Bull Newsletter, and Twins Daily, I blew a 9-6 lead in foosball to my 12 year old son. So perhaps I wasn't in the most chipper mood when I recorded the intro, but I should've been because this podcast was really one of the best I've done, due entirely to my guest, Mr. Trueblood. We talked some Red Sox off-season, tried in vain to avoid the Mookie Betts trade, and then worked around the AL attempting to get a handle on the other divisions and, maybe with an ulterior motive, to get some more information about the potential Wild Card challengers the Red Sox will face in 2021. It really was a fun conversation and I hope you enjoy listening to it.
