  • Soft Hands, Bruised Knees - Queer Short Film

I just needed a space to express my feelings of longing and hope. I have not been doing too good for a while, and that reflects a lot in my art, but I want to atleast try and heal. That is the premise of this film.

I recorded the audio on a random night in 2024 a few weeks after my graduation, and being back home...where it all began really did a number on me. It's quite strange to have spent several years out and proud as a black and trans body- only to return to zero.

The footage used spans over several months, special moments, and culminates in a solo skate session alone. Ain't that something...

    Thanks to-

Nani - for absolutely killing the guitar and just being a beautiful ray of joy in my life.
LÚA - for allowing me to use their beautiful vocals! You can find her on Instagram @ hereluanow
Kd - for always showing me the joys of accepting oneself and finding love in the mundane ❤️.

Please do consider supporting my art and creative journey on Ko-fi ^_^
