  • "G.F.Y. (2025)" - Ferocious Designs (Official Music Video)

    Official music video for "G.F.Y. (2025)" by Ferocious Designs. This is a slightly different version of "G.F.Y." from the one that appears on my 2023 album, Looking for the Light. I was never really happy with how that version turned out so I tried to "fix" it some time ago. I never really finished it, though, aside from reviving some drum and guitar parts intended for the album track. But current events had the song on my mind again so I figured I would clean it up as much as possible and release it. I started writing "G.F.Y." shortly after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and the title came from the reported reply from Ukrainians stationed at Snake Island to the Russian cruiser Moskva demanding their surrender.

  • Antes de los videojuegos eran las juegocajas!

    Hace muchos años en la década de los 80 nos inventamos esta especie de videojuego o "gamebox" (entonces no hablábamos inglés) con aventuras dibujadas en un rollo de papel. Cada uno se fabricaba su propio juego. Los había con diferentes niveles de dificultad: podías correr en vertical, en horizontal, con coches de carreras, naves espaciales, muñecos que saltan plataformas, etc... y así nos divertíamos entre los amigos del barrio.

    No necesita electricidad; un amigo tiraba del rollo-aventura y controlaba el juego mientras otro amigo jugaba. Algunas juego-aventuras eran de varios metros con caminos cortados (sin fin) y era muy adictivo!
    Simple y divertido.

    Fabricado con una caja de zapatos, rollos de papel pintado unidos con cinta de pegar (celo) y mucha imaginación.

    Más adelante mis padres nos regalaron un Amstrad CPC y ya no volvimos a hacer más juegocajas 😃

    First things first. I'm sorry for the gifs. But I enjoy me some stupid memes sometimes. 😛

    You can skip everything. At the end are some still images of the drawings.
    I only used Winsor & Newton ink and a pencil.
    The animals with a flag worked into the fur or feathers represent a specific cliché of this country. The German eel for example kills you if you don't follow the law. The Russian Vodtwa pushes her head into your face and salutes you if you drink .... VODKA! Yeah it was a fun stream. ^^'
