We love the Looney Tunes, and with this movie being compared to a live action version of that, we took a chance and sat down to witness what Hundreds of Beavers had to offer with that bold statement! As well as going over how the humour holds up, we also manage to distinguish Christmas elements from the story, a potential nod to Roger Rabbit, and how very VERY different raccoons are from beavers...

After Sophie experiencing Ridley Scott's 1979 movie Alien for the first time this year (FYI go check out that previous episode), it was uncertain whether we would be covering the release of Alien: Romulus as a follow up. But the stars had aligned and we were able to venture out to the cinema to go and experience the newest installment in the Alien franchise from horror director Fede Álvarez. This review contains a spoiler-free section to get our general consensus on the film, before we move into the meat of the movie in the spoiler section (timecode 18:42). We also touch upon how other franchises tackle prequels and sequels, the use of legacy characters, and what the most frightening sequence of the film was for both of us...

The Patreons have Paul take a trip down memory lane with an iconic '90's kids show turned movie from The Rugrats (with Rugrats in Paris: The Movie thrown in for good measure).
