CLARIFICATION: Several times in this episode (and in the ad) I mention that the signups start on November 12th at 16:00UTC/NOON Eastern which is incorrect. I meant to say that signups start on the 12th at 16:00UTC/11AM Eastern.

Yo this week, Hunter and JadiimJedi sit down to rank and discuss all 25 breakthroughs for the old factions. It's a blow-out discussion that essentially covers the entire game in brief excluding the newest factions. Also for the first 45 minutes we review the new rules for breakthroughs and synergies in an attempt to clear up some confusion. HAVE FUN! Thunder's Edge, forver.

Hunter and Alec are seating down for a read along! This time we're diving into the Twilight's Fall rulebook to cover what this great alternate game mode is going to offer us. If you found the previous reveal episode confusing this episode should clear a lot of what the mode is actually about up, however even this discussion is just the beginning of our coverage! Enjoy and remember this Friday Hunter will be streaming his first official gameplay video for Thunder's Edge on twitch!

This week we're back with a fresh start! Hunter and El Blasto (TI Tournament extraordinaire) sit down to work through the new rulebook. Now that Hunter has his copy of Thunder's Edge we've gotta begin our project of analyzing all of the new content! It starts here with the beautiful rulebook but soon we'll get to Faction guides, component overviews, and click-bait hot takes. Long live SCPT!

This week we've got a weird episode for ya, we went to the Galactic Council to ask them for questions regarding the end of the POK era of the TI. A lot of it involves Hunter and Matt looking back at their 8 years of working on the show but also we've got a discussion at the end that pertains to Matt's continued involvement in the show. It's a bit of a downer but I hope y'all will stick with the show even if Matt will be less involved going forward.

Hunter, Matt, and Dane are all here to talk about the big elephant in the room for the new Twilight Imperium expansion. What exactly is Twilight's Fall? Is it simply an official take on frankendraft? How wildly does it differ from regular Twilight Imperium? Is it the new "real" way to play the game? Did Dane make us two expansions???

ALL THIS AND MORE, WITHIN!

This week we've got a full on FACTION REVEAL. Dane is here to give us a full component reveal of one of the wildest new additions to the faction roster and I couldn't be happier. If you've been wondering who the weird robed figures are on the cover and back of the new box, well it's time to find out what their whole deal is. Special thanks to Dane for bein' my buddy and giving us all the good spoilers. BUT ALSO Ethan over at Cardboard Crash Course is simultaneously revealing a whole different faction too! How will you cope with all of these juicy details????

This is easily one of the craziest episodes of this podcast we've ever produced. So first up we're going to cover FOUR new Thunder's Edge component teasers because I got to make it up to you for all the weeks I wasn't able to share the new stuff. Then we're going to talk about the new announced Twilight Imperium game "Twilight Imperium Digital" and only after all of that will we get into the meat of the episode where Hunter, Matt, EJ, and some fun guests talk about our shared love for the social deduction game BLOOD ON THE CLOCK TOWER. If you've never played this game before hopefully you'll get a good idea of why people love it and what kinds of gameplay experiences you can find within!

Special thanks to EJ Sanders, Victoria Jocko, and Joshua Yearsley!

Hunter and Absol sit down this week to talk about all of the lore teasers that we have for where the story of Twilight Imperium is going to be headed into the upcoming expansion, Thunder's Edge. She is absolutely an expert in this arena and she has a lot of really good information that is public that you might not know about because you might not have read all of the TI books for the RPG, so check it out!
