It’s a mutiny in space! SPACE MUTINY! The most 70s sci-fi movie to come out of the late 80s. A rip-roaring Star Wars ripoff that’s chock-full of reused footage from a much better Star Wars ripoff, Battlestar Galactica.

Steve and Justin beam aboard the Souther Sun and discover one of the craziest production histories this side of the moon. From a director on their deathbed to locations that look ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like a spaceship, Space Mutiny doesn’t often get it right, but when it does, it usually involves a giant explosion. And that’s just fine in the boys’ book.
