Daniel Doiron describes this chapter as an ode to management by exception.  There are two threads in this chapter that I highlight. The first is Steve and Daniel’s discussion on the need for different perspectives to identify the constraint in complicated environments. The second major component in the chapter is a discussion of an approach for governance.
