• Tengo tos - I have a cough
• Toser - to cough
• Necesito toser - I need to cough
• ¿Te duele aquí? - Does it hurt here?
• Tengo mocos - I have a runny nose/mucus
• Necesito más medicación / necesito que me actualicen la tarjeta  - I need more medication or to update my card.
• Dime / Dígame - this means, "tell me" but it would refer to how they can help you
• Tengo un resfriado - I have cold
• Estoy resfriado/a - I am full of cold
• ¿Qué síntomas tienes? - What symptoms do you have?
• Estoy preocupado/a - I am worried
• Vamos a mirarlo - let's have a look at it
• Puedes hablar más lento, por favor - can you talk slower please.
• Por supuesto - of course!
• Respira hondo - breathe deep
• Inhala - inhale
• Exhala - exhale
• Dolor de garganta - sore throat
• Di AAA - say AAA
• Tienes muchos mocos - you have a lot of mucus
• Puedes darme copia - can you give me a copy?
• Una vez al día - once a day
• Dos veces al día - twice a day

when there is an accent ´ on a vowel, it makes the vowel longer, for example:

- médica - we would say ME-dica

- operación - we would say op-er-a-ciON

- estómago - we would say es-TO-mago

- policía - we would say po-li-CÍA

- civíl - ci-VÍL

Difference between Spanish and English

• Body parts - in Spanish they use the article "the" and not "my/your...

For example: My head hurts - me duele LA cabeza

Me duele la espalda - my back hurts
