A half black half Japanese assassin comes to her back to her grandmothers house after her passing and learns about her heritage and herself. This is a quick fun read that I would recommend to any fantasy lover especially those who love anime.

I really loved this novel. It is a hug for black women. Their connection was really beautiful, and their love story feels natural and sweet. I really enjoyed this series as a whole, and it was just a breathe of fresh air.
