There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.

When we are playing small, we are coming from a space of comfort and security. We might be doing what we know and have always known because it’s easy and safe. It doesn’t challenge us.  Life is predictable. We aren’t challenged and as a result we don’t grow, because we never step outside our comfort zone.

When we are playing a bigger game and living the life we were destined for, we show up as our true authentic selves. We step into our power. We stretch ourselves. We try new things and we may fail, and then we try them again. It’s an uncomfortable and vulnerable space to be in, but time and time again it rewards us with growth, new learning and new opportunities. When we play a bigger game our lives are more rewarding and we can show up in service to others as the most powerful version of ourselves.

This international women’s day I encourage you to take time to celebrate yourself. Recognize all that you are, and all that you have to contribute to the world. Look around you and celebrate the women in your lives. Tell them what they mean to you and the difference they have made. We are stronger together. Together, we rise.

It's that time of year again when we need to pause, take a look back and reflect on our highlights, successes and challenges in 2019 in order to prepare ourselves to reset and start 2020 off right!  In this episode, I share a personal reflection of my own year in review focusing on some of the highlights and challenges I experienced in 2019.  I leave you with some coaching tools to be able to reflect on your own year in review and prepare yourself for the coming year!

Today’s episode is about learning how to step outside of your comfort zone.  We’ve all heard the quote, “A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.”

Over the past 8 weeks I’ve been challenging myself to step outside my own comfort zone as I work on changing my health habits. So far, it’s been difficult but also extremely rewarding. I’ve been inspired to change my daily practices in order to achieve the results I’m after and it’s been about as far from my comfort zone as possible. I will share with you a bit about my health journey and then we’ll focus on how you can start taking steps today to get outside of your own comfort zone.

In this episode we will focus on Stepping into Your Power and explore what may be getting in your way or holding you back.

I once heard the definition of Power being described as building strength over time. Just like building a muscle, it takes daily practice, repetition and consistency to achieve your goals. The same can be said of building our own personal power. Every day we have the opportunity to gain daily practice, to repeat those behaviours that lead to success, and to consistently show up this way time and time again.
