Speak to me in my dreams

Listen Later

Speak to me in my dreams

Speak to me in my dreams, rolling across apples, bananas and pears

A space where nothing’s as it seems, free from offhand

comments and stares

Tell me how you love the feel, laughing, carefully picking

out your favorite fruits

Watch so you don’t slip on a banana peel, falling into today using coconut shells for parachutes

Waking up to a monochrome existence, nothing in the

cupboard, seems the fridge is barren too

No wonder we meet reality with resistance, so much more fun with the fresh produce and you

Speak to me in my dreams, catch me on a night where we can share a slow dance

The window in the parlor steams, two silhouettes pirouette embracing their subliminal romance

Bossa Nova, waltzing, or even dirty dancing; honey you speak volumes pressed against my chest

This castle in the air where we’re romancing, it’s grand but

having you here babe it’s really the best

Imagination’s escapades delve into perversion, which fails

to satisfy when sunlight takes it away

The thought of you makes a wonderful diversion, none more so than the thought of you here to stay
