In today’s episode Tim “The Ferds” continues with his second division in the NFC for his divisional previews but first starts off with the sad news of Rams running back Cam Akers suffering an Achilles injury. Tim explains that Akers is a prime example of what can happen to a top heavy team like the Rams and what it means for their outlook on the season. Tim also looks at the injury from a fantasy perspective and he tells us why Darrell Henderson will now be grossly over drafted but Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp and friends are “going to the moon”. Next up Tim sets sail for the NFC South, he tells us why the Falcons are going to need to go belly up to really start their rebuild and why they are destined to finish in last in this division. Tim tells us why he expects the Carolina Panthers to be about the same as they were last year and why the Saints will obviously take a step back, but not for the reason you might think. Finally Tim tells us why it is basically a lock for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to be back in the NFC Championship game this year. Tim also gives us fantasy advice for each team in the division to go along with major offseason moves and his favorite game on each team’s schedule.

Keith says the Pirates selecting Henry Davis number one overall was a total shocker, the guys geek out on how they would draft their teams if they ran an MLB franchise. Finally heading into the All-Star break the guys give their home run derby picks as well as all the available derby prop bets. Tim tell us why his current pick is Joey Gallo and why either Gallo or Pete Alonso will definitely go over on the longest ball bet. Keith tackles the other side of the bracket and explains why it is going to be difficult for current AL MVP front runner Shohei Ohtani to take home the crown.

In today’s episode Tim “The Ferds” and Joe Wilson talk about how Tampa was able to repeat as Stanley Cup champions. Tim  looks back on his prediction on the Lightning winning the cup and tells us why Nikita Kucherov coming back essentially sealed the deal before the playoffs even got going. Joe stays salty about Tampa Bay being 18 million over the cap and tells us why Carey Price should have been a strong candidate for the Conn Smythe trophy despite being on the losing end of the Stanley Cup. Tim and Joe also discuss if this current Tampa team should be considered a dynasty.  The guys discuss some of the early odds for next year’s Stanley Cup, Tim and Joe even throw out some betting picks ahead of the NHL expansion draft. Finally the guys discuss the Viktor Arvidsson trade between Nashville and LA as well as  Blues winger Vladimir Tarasenko requesting a trade. Joe and Tim give some potential landing spots for Tarasenko who has two years left on his contract.

Tim and Keith briefly touch on Hector Santiago being the first pitcher tossed and than suspended for sticky stuff. Tim makes the case for Shohei Ohtani being the American League MVP even if Ohtani were to get hurt today and not play a game for the remainder of the season. Keith owns up that he missed on Kyle Schwarber earlier this season but he explains why the Nationals. The guys talk about Trevor Bauer and the allegations made against him but they more importantly talk about what this means for the Dodgers if Bauer is unavailable to pitch for an extended period of time. The guys also talk about Josh Donaldson calling out Lucas Giolito and the trade rumors surrounding Donaldson. Keith and Tim both give some landing spots for the veteran third basemen. Keith tries to explain how Ronald Acuna Jr. always gets hit when the Braves play the Marlins. Finally the guys give us their fantasy pickups, beat the streak picks and of course a series they are looking forward to.

But first, the guys talk about the Ryan Nugent-Hopkins deal and why Edmonton would give Nugent-Hopkins so many years on his deal. Next the guys go through each major NHL award and share their takes on if the voters got it right. Tim tells us why McDavid should just win the award by default for the next 10 seasons barring injury and Joe gives us the lowdown on the sneaky good offensive season that Adam Fox had for the Rangers but why he thinks the Norris trophy should go to the best actual defensemen. Kirill the Thrill took home the Calder trophy but will he stay in Minnesota? Joe flames the NHL for their own website not being accurate. The guys also chat about game one of the Stanley Cup and what they expect throughout the rest of the series.

In today’s episode Tim “The Ferds” and Joe Wilson do a quick recap of the Knights and Avalanche series where Tim tells us why the main difference in the series was the Avalanche’s lack of big game experience up and down their roster. Joe dives deep into the Canadiens and Knights series where he tells us it isn’t just Carey Price who is keeping the Canadiens in the series but it is also the defensive unit of Montreal. Tim and Joe share their predictions for the rest of the series where they both think the Knights will prevail to advance to the Stanley Cup. Meanwhile on the East coast Joe and Tim had a tough time watching the Islanders get curb stomped by Tampa in a pivotal game 5. Tim explains why this series has proven his point all year in that the Islanders are a system team they don’t actually have a ton of individually good players. Joe and Tim both expect the Islanders to win game six at Nassau Coliseum. Finally to wrap it up Joe and Tim quickly touch on the Rangers hire of Gerard Gallant.

In today’s episode Tim “The Ferds” and Keith Hernandez discuss the one of the hottest topics in baseball, that being one of the sticky variety. After the recent rise in pitcher injury including Rays ace Tyler Glasnow Tim and Keith re-visit their previous discussion on if pitchers should be allowed to use foreign substances to better grip the baseball. Tim and Keith also dive into Glasnow’s injury, was it really just due to him having to change mid-season or was his elbow bound to blow. Keith also speaks to Carlos Rodon’s comments about MLB stepping in to discipline the pitchers but not the Astros for their sign stealing scandal. Tim tells us why if Wander Franco is half as good as the hype around him that the American League East might as well be wrapped up, it is the Rays division to lose even without Glasnow. Finally the guys give their beat the streak picks, series picks and of course they play  who’s your Randy.

Tim and Joe speak to how Vegas and Colorado have liven up to the hype and why they both think the Islanders will close out their series against Boston on Thursday night. Tim and Joe also give a short potential preview of Isles and Lightning as well as Montreal against the top seeded remaining western team.
