Hello Truthers! 

It's been almost a week since the Uvalde shooting and there is a lot to unpack. We're now learning that the Uvalde gun shooter purchased his weapons online. In addition, many of our children and teens are having the idea of guns marketed to them before the age of 21. This happens through online marketing via consumer ads. For example, the ads can occur during a video game that they're playing. Let's talk about so you can be informed of what is really going on. 

Whew!!! The last few weeks we have had nothing  but doom and gloom. This inspirational story discussed the resilience of a woman who went to prison and 5 years later has achieved a Master's Degree. Let's talk about it.

Welcome back to Speak Truth 2 Life. Today's show takes a look at gun laws around the world and a discussion if there will be bipartisan support to finally pass a gun law that satisfies both Republicans and Democrats in light of this week's shooting at Robb Elementary. 

By now you know that Russia and U.S communications and relationship has been rocky since the Ukraine attacks back in February. Around the same time WNBA player Brittany Griner was over seas playing international basketball. On her way back to the U.S. they found some illegal substances in her possession and ever since, she has been in their custody. Let's talk about this. Do you think she is guilty as they charged or used as a pawn between the U.S and Russia? 

Allegedly a white student urinated on a classmate's desk and school belongings in the dead of night. The incident went viral on social media. Let's talk about how far we've come and how far we have to go! Is this an isolated event or something that points to a larger problem in our society beyond schools?

We have by passed the two year period where Covid-19 was initially known and spread around the world, killing many people in the U.S and other international countries. Recently, the cruise industry restarted and have tried to abide to the CDC's guidelines. Would you go to a cruise or how are you handling your vacation or holiday time? I have thought I might be ready to get back on a cruise boat but I have definitely delayed it. Let's talk! 

My commentary about today's senseless tragedy in Uvelda, Texas where multiple killings occurred in an elementary school. 

Over the years, I have heard complaints about calls from primarily black neighborhoods either being ignored or being delayed. In the recent incident, one of the supermarket employees called 911 but the call was dropped. Allegedly the dispatcher dropped the call and the grocery store clerk had to use their own phone to call a loved one to ask them to call 911 to get them to the location of this horrific shooting. Let's talk about it. 

Last weekend in New York state, a group of community members were murdered by a white supremacist. Let's talk about it.
