In communities of color, no snitching ensures that criminals who live among good hard working people avoid criminal prosecution. In these communities, women, men and vulnerable individuals become victims to criminals who live among community members and police will not get the truth unless it's caught on video. The importance and power of forgiveness is not what most people think. I have heard people say you are forgiving the offense, some think that they have to forgive the person. For me, it was a personal journey of learning how to get past an abandonment issue as my father who wasn't in my life for many years.
