  • Who’s responsible (and liable) for AI cyber risks?

Following a summer of headlines about OpenAI’s rogue AI agents and their so-called autonomous attacks on Hugging Face, co-hosts Tony Anscombe and Kirsten Bay explore one of the biggest questions facing businesses today: who is ultimately responsible when AI goes wrong? From unpacking what “autonomous” really means to examining the role humans play every step of the way, the discussion explores the practical side of AI adoption, including how businesses can train employees to use AI responsibly, create effective prompts with appropriate guardrails, and manage emerging cyber risks.

  • Cyber Insurance vs. cyber warranty: do you understand the difference?

Even within the cybersecurity industry, confusion remains around the differences between cyber warranties and cyber insurance. In this podcast, we’ll take a closer look at what sets them apart, where each begins and ends, and even how cyber warranties and insurance come into play for organizations that rely on managed service providers (MSPs). As AI accelerates the pace and complexity of cyber threats, we’ll explore how coverage needs and expectations are evolving, and whether some businesses may be carrying more protection than they actually need.

  • The great social media ban for under 16’s – effective or just noise?

Banning under 16’s from social media is now a reality in some countries, and in many others, there is a trending conversation on following suit. In Australia, where the ban was first implemented around 7 months ago, it’s estimated that between 70-80% of teens continue to access the banned platforms. On this podcast we discuss whether the ban is an admission of failure to address the real issues of illegal and inappropriate content, addiction, bullying and such like. Without addressing the core issues whether the firehouse of social media content hitting a new user at 16 will be overwhelming. And whether Legislation that is complex to implement and does not address the root cause of the issue has any true value.
