Chair of the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools Board of Education George Griffin spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Monday, June 10. He discussed the upcoming high school graduation ceremonies for seniors in the district. He also talked about the district’s proposed facilities plan and the bond referendum on November’s ballot. He talked about the different possibilities in the plan, and how the community can engage with the board on this topic. He discussed the school board’s decision vote in favor of block scheduling at the high school level, and more.
