Former UTEP & New Mexico State assistant basketball coach Rus Bradburd wrote an amazing book , All the Dreams We've Dreamed" about basketball and gun violence on the west side of Chicago.  The story focuses on former Marshall High School standout Shawn Harrington who was shot in a case of mistaken identiy long after his playing days were over ,but the shooting points out the issues of athletes trying to get ahead in the streets of Chicago's West Side.  Coach Rus appears on "Speaking of Sports" with Jim Daniels.
