Beyond this, she has also assumed the role of Co-Chair for the Dr. Rita Cox – Kina Minogok PS (formerly Queen Victoria PS) Parent Council and has been an active board member of Fast and Female—a charitable organization dedicated to empowering young girls through sports.
Rooted in her identity as a first-generation Canadian, Debbie has been an integral part of the Parkdale—High Park community for over 15 years.
