If SmartVAs had existed five years earlier, Chelsea said, "I would have done this far, far sooner than I did" with her business.

Chelsea Sutton, CEO of Consultment Agency and Visibiliti Creatives, has been a SmartVAs client since February 2021, starting with merely 80 hours and now to 160 hours.

Chelsea joins us on our 100th episode of the Master Delegator Podcast as she shares her experiences so far with her team of virtual assistants from Smart Virtual Assistants. We also talked about how she successfully became a Master Delegator herself!

Why Hire A Virtual Assistant From SmartVAs?

Being a Marketing Business Owner herself, Chelsea started her company with so many things on her to-do list that she couldn't focus on the more important needs of her company. She realized she needed an assistant who could be her right hand and take on some of the responsibilities so she could focus on the more essential ones.

However, an assistant isn't enough until she learned about Smart VAs, which provides a team of virtual assistants with skill sets that match her requirements, saving her time and money on onboarding and training.

Tips To Know What To Delegate

  1. Chelsea's first step in figuring out which tasks should not be assigned and which should be handled internally or by management was delegating everything. In doing that, she was able to find the tasks that weren't best for delegation and that then gives her more insight into how to run her business.
  2. Another piece of advice she gave was to treat the VAs and treat the lead like a part of your team and talk through things with them, even if you're not sure how to proceed because your lead and virtual assistants can make suggestions of what to do next to help you build your business.
  3. Getting it on paper was by far one of the best things that helped her decide what to delegate because it forced her to think through different things, in different categories, and then prioritize those things accordingly. Keeping track of all the duties or projects you imagine you could have can help you figure out what and how to delegate to your virtual assistant.

Tips On How to Delegate

  1. Be patient in the process - Even though VAs are professionals, it's important to give them and the process more time to absorb.
  2. Delegate Everything - As stated previously, doing so gives more insight into how to run your business.
  3. Utilize a video call & recording system - Getting a business
