In the place of our usual mid week podcast, we have shared a song of solidarity, on our YouTube Channel - Maranatha Teaching Channel - as we stand with our Christian Brothers & Sisters in Nigeria 🙏 Please visit our YouTube Channel and listen to the song and share the link.
Our hearts are heavy as we think of the countless Christians in Nigeria facing immeasurable suffering - those who have had everything taken: their homes, their loved ones, their sense of safety. We grieve with them.
The violence is a tragic day to day reality for many Christians. We call on the global church and leaders, the Nigeria Government, and people of goodwill to:
1. Pray fervently for peace, protection and restoration.
2. Ask for accountability for those who perpetrate or allow these attacks.
3. Raise awareness so the suffering is not ignored or forgotten.
4. Stand with communities who now live with trauma, loss and fear.
LET US NOT FORGET: every person attacked, every church destroyed, every family displaced is the image of Christ in pain. Let us honour their dignity. Let us refuse silence.
#StandWithNigeriaChristians
May the Lord comfort our brethren, bring healing to broken lives, strengthen the persecuted, and transform hearts. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4) Amen
Thank You
Yours in Christ
