We sit down with some classic New Year's brunch drinks to talk about one well-crafted episode. It includes Ruthie's evolving liberation from Simon, Mary (and her hot high school Principal) teaching a supremely jerky man a lesson, the world's best "high crime area", and so much more.

This week's drinks:

Mimosa - you should just know what is in this.
Choose Your Own Bloody Mary - Morgan's recipe can include any of the following:

• Tomato juice, V8, Spicy V8, Clamato etc.
• 2 oz Vodka 
• A salty rim of Old Bay, za'taar, etc
• Lemons and Limes
• Pickled bits like olives, jalapeños, cocktail onions, cornichons etc. etc. etc.
• Cocktail shrimp if you've got them
• Some umami element like worcestershire sauce, fish sauce, garlic powder, garlicy hot sauce etc etc.
• Some way to introduce salt to the drink, like brine from the pickled bits
• Something spicy, good hot sauces to use are Cholula or Tapatio
• Fresh black pepper

Just stir it around and keep tasting it until it's balanced.
