I want to remind you, even if you do not have sons, you may have brothers, fathers, husbands, cousins, uncles, nephews or friends; and no matter how many of these young black men exist within your family, immediate or extended, the loss of ANY one of them is devastating. While we do not have the capacity to protect them from a system that appears to prey on our black sons, we do have a God that CAN and WILL protect. If you truly love these black men in your life, keep each uplifted in prayer, live for the Lord and teach each black son to do likewise. Lead by example and God WILL ANSWER your prayers.
