Paul Rappaport spent more than 30 years as a promotions executive for Columbia Records.
In that capacity, he worked with an amazing lineup of artists - Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, Men At Work, the Bangles...and that's just a fraction of the total!
Over the years, Paul has compiled some AMAZING stories and he has just published his first book "Gliders Over Hollywood - Airships, Airplay, and the Art of Rock Promotion."
As music director and air personality at New York City's legendary WNEW-FM, Jim Monaghan dealt with Paul on a regular basis, so some of the stories in the book really resonate with him.
