Tom Joseph is a Pittsburgh-native entrepreneur, engineer, and innovator with a Carnegie Mellon University degree. He began his career at Westinghouse Electric before founding Bookminders in the 1980s, a pioneering remote-first bookkeeping firm that predated work-from-home models. He also played a key role in launching the Propel Charter Schools network in Pennsylvania through creative organizational solutions. Driven by concerns over gerrymandering, partisan division, and money's influence in politics, Joseph founded and serves as treasurer of America’s Main Street Party. He is the producer of Wilson’s Fountain, an innovative project that repurposes the U.S. political committee system with technology—including a public-domain app and secure mobile voting—to create a fair, merit-based “People’s Primary.”
