Founder and CEO of Pharma-Cycle, Jim Mullowney joins the Sauce. Jim is a well-known leader and scientist in the hazardous waste industry and a pioneer in the field of cytotoxic sanitary waste. He has devoted many years to developing the Pharma-Cycle™ Solution, receiving five patents that place the company front and center in the global fight to make cancer therapy safer. He has successfully advocated for federal and state legislation that mandates control of certain cytotoxic chemotherapy drugs from the time they arrive at the pharmacy all the way through excretion by the patient.
When Jim began his career, it was just becoming unacceptable for manufacturers to pour chlorinated solvents down the drain. Through the years, Jim witnessed the industrial environmental transformation first-hand and the dramatic impact of workplace public awareness, personal health and safety. With over 30 years of experience in the hazardous waste industry, Jim is a pioneer in the field of cytotoxic sanitary waste.
Once he expanding his work into hazardous waste generated by hospitals and universities, Jim recognized an opportunity in the safe collection, destruction, transportation and disposal of cytotoxic chemotherapy. So he developed and patented Pharma-Cycle Solution for the safe disposal of human waste excreted by chemotherapy patients. And continues to be a passionate advocate for the protection of caregivers, families and our water supply.
Jim holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a concentration in Synthetic Organic Chemistry. He did additional coursework in the Suffolk University M.B.A. program. Bladimir Mercedes, Executive Director of American Capital Express, reveals "They want to be found!" and they're ready to help entrepreneurs and small business owners acquire capital ranging from $30,000 to $5,000,000 dollars.
"Often times business owners face challenges in qualifying for their best business loan options, they may not have their finances in order, taxes or might even have credit issues. That can limit their ability to secure the capital they need to operate and grow.
My company has services to get them working capital and we have the ability to get them in a position to qualify for the most appropriate loan.
By acquiring capital we help businesses scale, grow and seize opportunities that can take them to the next level."
