His win at Perris Auto Speedway was his third of the young season leaving him second in points to eight-time champion Donny Schatz. Four-Time World Challenge Champion Johnny O'Connell (2012-2015) is one of the most successful GT drivers in U.S. history. His wins have come in Le Mans, Sebring and anywhere in the World Challenge series. He was in The Freak Nation Sunday Night to talk about the World Challenge stop at the Long Beach Grand Prix weekend. O'Connell will be in the Cadillac at Long Beach and that's where his conversation centered Sunday. But he also went other places including watching his daughter on social media. Listen.

2016 IndyCar champion Simon Pagenaud is a longtime Friend of the Freaks. His visit Sunday night was getting The Freaks up to speed on his quest for a second championship season with Penske Racing. Pagenaud talked with Statt Mann about a number of things including keeping it simple when it comes to race strategy. CHiPs Actor/Director Dax Shephard is a motorhead especially when it comes to motorcycle racing. He's especially a fan of MotoGP, the biggest global motorcycle racing series. He acted in, directed and was the executive producer of the CHiPs movie that opened this weekend in theaters. Shephard said he was willing to step aside for better actors but that wasn't necessary as the project came together. Dax is a racing Freak. Listen.

NHRA Gainesville Top Fuel Winner Tony Schumacher was in The Freak Nation Sunday night just hours after his win in the Gatornationals. Schumacher was effusive in his praise for his car early in the season. His confidence was strong enough to use qualifying to get some additional test data that he eventually used in his victory runs. When Schumacher is confident enough to nearly brag, the rest of the Top Fuel category may need to run and hide. Listen...

IMSA Sebring 12 Hour Winner Ricky Taylor is a Friend of the Freaks so when he comes into The Freak Nation after a win we listen and, even, give him some business because he takes it so well. Taylor, along with his brother Jordan Taylor and teammate Alexander Lynn, got the win, the second in Florida for Wayne Taylor Racing at the start of the season. Ricky admitted that now the season changes from the endurance events at Daytona and Sebring to the sprint race at Long Beach next month. Listen...
