Spell Slinging Sunday

**We made a goof!  Bugs got a little carried away with the idea of deathtouch…a sacrificed creature wouldn’t inflict that ability under goblin barrage. Thanks for your patience!**

Our latest episode is ready to download!  We are celebrating 1 calendar year of Spell Slinging Sunday!  Be sure to join us to see what our plans are for year 2, and of course to talk about Magic.

We can't believe that it's been a year since we have started this podcast!  We are so thankful for everyone who is listening and we hope that you continue.

This episode we are going to start with the decks that got our family back into playing Magic.  Do you have any of these precons?

We are also sharing some podcast plans for the next year of Spell Slinging Sunday.  Hopefully you will be just as excited about them as we are!

Who loves Modern Horizons 2?  While we may not have many cards from this set, there are some cards that we both still really like.  Do any of our favorites match with yours?  Have you thought about picking up a few packs or maybe buying some singles?

The Bug has been eyeing a new commander as well - his choice is Drizzt Do'Urden!  Join us as we chow down on what cards would work well with Drizzt for a new commander deck for The Bug.

The Bug had an opportunity to join a Modern Magic event at our local game store.  Have you thought about attending an event?  Does it seem scary to you?  Join us as we talk about how things went for The Bug.

Bubba is getting ready to build a new commander deck and has chosen Nissa Steward of Elements to be his commander.  Join us as we talk about possible cards for his new deck and maybe look for a future episode where we do a Deck Tech after he gets it built.

Have you played green/blue?  Leave us a comment to let us know who your favorite blue/green commander is!

Sorry for the lateness of this episode - we got a little caught up in baseball.

Today we are taking a look at one of the Commander Decks from Crimson Vow - Strefan, Maurer Progenitor.   Have you been playing vampires or been wanting to play a vampire centered deck?  Join us as we talk through this deck from Crimson Vow.  Maybe you will be inspired to create a vampire deck of your own!

It's been hot here so let's look at some cool cards from the vintage set Ice Age.  Remember when sets came out in blocks of 3?  We don't either.  However, we went through our parents old binders and found some Ice Age.  Maybe you remember or have thought about using some cards from this set.  Join us as we take a look at this vintage set!

Another new set so it is time to talk about our top 10!  Today we are talking about Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate.  We each have our top 10 lists at the ready.  Join us to see which cards they are.   Are you looking forward to the same cards that we are?  Be sure to like and subscribe, drop us a comment about your favorite cards.  Be sure to check us out on Instagram!

Join us as we talk about a new commander that we are excited about!  We will be talking about Minsc and Boo because who doesn't like hamsters?  We are looking forward to Battle for Baldur's Gate and this might just have to be a commander we build a deck around.  Are you excited for Minsc and Boo?

Since we were actually able to go on vacation, we started thinking about Lands.  Today we are going to talk about lands that we found interesting.  The art might be a place we think would be neat to visit or it may just be an interesting land.  Do you have a favorite land?2
